A. Semi-Brick is when your psp is bricked BUT you have access to the recovery menu, Brick is when your psp wont turn on, NO ACCESS TO Recovery

2.Intro into PSP hacking
Well to start lets review what having CFW/ a hacked PSP can do for you. I know youve all broke a UMD, and when u break it and still play it you just
wasted money. With CFW you can download games for FREE. You can play homebrew games such as: Guitar Hero prototype(s) , Tetris, Quake and
many many others, You can be that kid online who has hacks, owning everyone else. You can go up and down thru CFW as much as you want, finding
the CFW that works best for you. Many many more things. Without further adu lets begin.

You can either open your battery, as ill tell you how to do here in a sec, or you can buy one Here
3. Making a pandoras battery
~ How to make a HardModded Phat PSP Battery~
~~I Take NO responsibility for your slip up and blow up your battery~~
OK, so i suggest you do this somewhere you have a hard sturdy surface to work on, a LOT of light and a sturdy hand.
You will need:
~Regular psp battery (not slim) IT HAS TO BE A PHAT BATTERY
~needle, safety pin, guitar pick, any other small object to pry open the battery case
~soldering iron (optional)
~electric tape
~Take your knife/exacto knife and CAREFULLY open your battery case
~once done, look for the connecter labled ICO4
~Next take your needle/safety pin and CAREFULLY remove the 5th pin
The pins are like :
~(1)~~~(8)~
~(2)~~~(7)~
~(3)~~~(6)~
~(4)~~~(5)~ <~~~ Cut Pin # 5 with a saftey pin, needle, or melt it with a solder, (cut or lift it)
~Put you battery back together, glue or tape it ( i recommend you tape it)

~Put your PSP in USB mode
~Copy and paste or drag and drop all your folders or the important stuff off from your PSP onto your computer
~You need AT LEAST a 259mb memory stick for this to work, i tested it on 1gig 2gig 256mb 4gig, all works
~Go to System Settings then go to Format Memory Stick, and format it
~Ok, open the folder called Tys MMS Maker
~Then open the folder called Local Drive Files, copy and paste, or drag and drop those two files (mspformat and msinst) To your local dick or better
known as C:\\
~Put yur PSP in USB mode
~Open up a command prompt (Start, Accessories, Comand prompt)
~In the command prompt type in "cd.." (Without The Quotation Marks)
~Then hit Enter
~Type in "cd.." again (Without The Quotation Marks)
~Then hit Enter
~ Now type in "cd\mspformat" (Without The Quotation Marks)
~Then hit Enter
~Type in "mspformat A " (Without The Quotation Marks), with A being YOUR PSPs drive
~You will see "All data will be lost. Do you want to continue? [Y]"
~Type in Y
~You will see " Drive succesfully formatted, and partition moved."
~Now unplug your USB cable, take out your memory stick, put it back in and re-insert your USB cabe.
~Now copy and paste or drag and drop the files from Pre-made Pandora Installer onto your Memory sticks Root
~Open up another command prompt (Start, Accessories, Comand prompt)
~In the command prompt type in "cd.." (Without The Quotation Marks)
~Then hit Enter
~Type in "cd.." again (Without The Quotation Marks)
~Then hit Enter
~ Now type in "cd\msinst" (Without The Quotation Marks)
~Type in "msinst A msipl.bin" (Without The Quotation Marks), with A being YOUR PSPs drive
~You should seeC:\msinst>msinst O msipl.bin

~You will get a screen with 5 options, press 5

Now that you have a MMS and a Pandoras Battery
~Put your MMS in
~Put your pandora in
~When screen loads Press X
~Wait for it to finish flashing
~WOOT!!! You have a hacked PSP!!
~Now format your MS, unless you want to keep it as a backup MS
~~Unbricking your PSP~~
~~Recovering from full brick~~
Full Brick is NO ACCESS TO RECOVERY MENU
~ Power off your PSP.
~ Insert the Magic Memory Stick into the PSP
~Insert the Pandoras Battery into the PSP
~ It will power on itself. Your Wi-fi and memory stick light will glow for a second
~ A menu appears when the PSP is done.
~press Install x.xx m33
~Let it flash
~You have succesfully unbricked =]]
~~Recovering from semi-brick~~
If you have access to recovery menu and not the XMB, you are semi bricked
To un semi-brick you will :
~Go to here, YOU DONT HAVE TO REGISTER

~After you download 1 or how many ever you want, Copy and paste or drag and drop the file into PSP/GAME/RECOVERY
~Now go into Recovery Menu and press X on "Run program at /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP
~Press X on I Agree, dosent matter which 1 as long it says I Agree
~now where it says Tagreget FW: select the one that you put the file in for,
~Press X on Install M33 CFW (of version selected above)

Lets begin
You will start most of the time out by pressing R once, going to [Searcher} and Pressing Find Uknown Value - 32bit
Now if you are tyring to make a inf time or inf stamina, or something that deals with time, you will go to [PRX] and Pause Game? *True*
And do you searching,
If you are trying to do a item mod
you will Buy, obtain a item search greater, then lose a item/sell a item the search less, repeat until you get good results
Expreimenting is a good way to find great things
You can make room mods by making a big room and searching greater then make a small room and search less, repeat until you have good results
Look at my coding guides for more info, how to do it, they all work on most games UNLESS it says a specific game/map
