Lets start off with the MW2!
Infinity Ward looking to fix PS3 MW2 security problems “as quick as possible”
Infinity Ward comms boss Rob Bowling has provided an update to the security problems facing the PS3 version of Modern Warfare 2.
Bowling said on the IW forums that the developer is looking to fix the problems currently facing the shooter “as quick as possible”.
“I just left a security meeting with the coders here at Infinity Ward where we discussed a lot of solutions. I feel good about the meeting, but of course I can’t go into detail on the possible solutions we discussed as we don’t want to give out any information that could potentially hinder the security any further,” he said.
“The key factor I want you to know is, that while any update takes time, we are looking to make the process as quick as possible and nothing is being left unattended.
“Our main focus right now is on:
1) Preventing hackers from affecting legitimate players.
2) Addressing users who have already been affected.”
Bowling had previously said in a post that Infinity Ward is not going to solely reply on the security of the platform holders, following news that PS3 had been hacked earlier this month.

Resistance 2 and 3 to be bridged by William C Dietz novel
Sony said today that William C Dietz is to write a second Resistance novel, this one bridging the story from the end of Resistance 2 to the beginning of Resistance 3. The book – which follows Joseph Capelli, Resistance 3’s protagonist – is called A Hole in the Sky, and will be published this summer by Del-Rey. Resistance 3 releases later this year for PS3.

Rumor: First official PSP2 shot leaks out [Update: Sony comments]
Tbh, this is my comment about this ^. This doesnt look like the PSP2. Looks more like the PSP Phone but who knows?
______
Update: Sorry, folks. No nail in this one’s coffin just yet. We got in touch with a Sony rep, only to receive a big, fat ”we don’t comment on rumour or speculation.” So then, let the rumor and speculation continue!
Original article: Sony, maybe you ought to just go ahead and cancel that big meeting of yours.
Don’t worry. The Internet’s got it covered.
Adding to the flood of info that’s already spilled out concerning the still-unofficial PSP2, we now have the above piece of artwork, which Kotaku claims is the real deal – straight from Sony’s lap. No Photoshop wizardry or extremely early April Fools jokes here.
Interestingly, this one has a PSPgo-like sliding shell – something little birds informed us had been scrapped due to overheating issues. If we’re looking at the genuine article here, then we’re guessing Sony found some way to cool it down a few notches. Or, you know, it’s a horrible fake. One of those two.
Other than that, it seems to check out with everything we’ve heard so far. There are two analog nubs, an SD card, and what appears to be a proprietary PSP2 stick of some sort.
We’ll, of course, give Sony a ring, but we’re not expecting much beyond the usual “we don’t comment on rumors and speculation” angle. We’ll update this post as soon as we hear back.

Stadium Pictures.
(Nothing special XD)
Combat erupts outside a vacant hockey stadium on the outskirts of the city. Tensions between the Cold War powers remain high, and the victor will revel in their enemy's demoralization. A mid-sized map designed for close-quarters mayhem, teams must fight tooth and nail in a maze of tight corners and deadly vantage points
Entrance from the western turnstiles allows the most breathing room, with a nearby souvenir shop providing cover overlooking the entryway. Planters adorning the walkway give cover to enemies, while entry to the rink encourages heavy through movement from soldiers rushing in and out of the stadium's entrance.
Offices in the north test your level of alertness on the bottom floor and reward those who make it to the second with a view of the courtyard and beyond. In addition to the stadium's second story windows, it's in everyone's best interest down below to keep these vantage points clear - especially when battling in the central courtyard.
Don't let the beautiful eastern lakeside view distract you. This side of the map forces cramped movement and a three-entry weight room. Cover the doorways and attack soldiers weaving in and out of the maze. Expect SMG and Shotgun loadouts, and consider Flak Jacket to stand up against flying grenades and Claymores. Success lies in controlling the battlefield and keeping a level head. Stay cool and let your reflexes kick in. If you come out last, take some time to study the latest edition of Popular Weapons '73 - you can find copies all around the map. Just look for the Sentry Gun on the cover.
Gear up and get ready for Stadium when Call of Duty®: Black Ops First Strike first hits Xbox LIVE® on February 1st. Keep your eyes open as we cover more of First Strike's maps in the coming weeks.
Dead Space 2: Severed announced for PSN, XBL
EA’s just announced Dead Space 2: Severed for PSN and XBL.
The content is an “all-new digital download pack” which sees the main characters of Dead Space: Extraction, Gabe and Lexine, return in “two standalone chapters” in the game’s story.
The player will control Gabe, who is a security guard on the Sprawl, as he tries to get himself and Lexine off it against “his own onslaught of Necromorphs”.
It’ll run in parallel with that of the story of Issac Clarke.
No price or timeline were given for its release. The info was mentioned in a press release published by EA to celebrate the main games release in the US today.
Dead Space 2 releases today in the US and on Friday in the UK for PS3, 360 and PC. The PS3 version will feature Extraction, where the characters of Severed come from.
You should buy it, judging by the scores the game’s gotten so far.
