How Did You Get into Gaming

Just wondering how we all got into gaming. Over our career we decided on competitive, but what was your start?

For me I was a ps player. I'm pretty sure I started off on ps2 and then ps1. The game I remember was Turok Evolution (by the way I was 5 and watching this.) then over time moved to Gba and ps1 both of which were at my moms house.

I started playing a lot when my dad joined the site from meeting DM on Mohh1. I joined shortly after, and now here I am today.

Edit: Guess I misread this or am retarded. The first console I remember is the PS1. I remember playing Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Syphon Filter, Spyro the Dragon, and MGS1. Then I got an xbox with Halo for christmas, I think 2001. Got a 360 after DM had been around for a little bit, and started playing Halo 2 with the clan.

I started with sega genisis. had batman, toy story, lion king, Aladdin, sonic and they were a million times harder then any game out right now. btw I was like 4

gaming i never had a console as a kid until psp. put i played other kids' gameboys and i played mario kart n64 etc. with friends.

first console was psp and a friend told me to get mohh1. lol that's how i ended up here!

Started playing Cruisin World on the N64, which turned into Goldeneye. After that it was gamecube, PS2, and then xbox 360. I also dabble in computer games now.

Nintendo was my first console. the first game I ever played was super Mario's world and that Duck hunt. I played like tmnt, sk8t or die, mgs I think it was the original 2nd one, paper boy, techo bowl or whatever it was called. and gaming for me evolved from there.

Hasy i see you with Cruisin world that was my shit on the arcade too lol. I started with og NES lol as a lil kid then led to a ps1, ps2, ps3 oh and i had all the gameboys starting with a gameboy color up to the DS. then i got a psp. I got there through DM Undead Corpse ive known em since i was 5 and he got me into psp online gaming.

My Dad got a Gameboy (original, phat and gray) as a gift with Mario Golf and he had no interest in it so he gave it to me. That was my first gaming experience and I played the shit out of that game even tho it sucked. My house got broken into and the Gameboy+game were stolen kay:

I played a little bit of genesis (mex I played that lion king game) and ps1 games (spyro, SF, Twisted Metal) at friends houses and was always jealous.

I eventually got an N64 for christmas one year with LoZ: OoT... Best present ever. Eventually got Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Tony hawk, Cruisin World, and Super Mario 64. Still have that thing hooked up.

Moved on to Gamecube, PS2, Xbox1. Got them all pretty late in their generation.

Got a 360 in 08 I think.

Thinking about geting a Ps3 at some point for bluray and some exclusives that Im jelous of.

Well lets see here, I started on psp with Mohh1. I played when all these little "OG's" played but I didn't take the game seriously got bored. Then quit. For some reason a couple months down the road I picked the game back up and started playing again. As time went on I took it to a competitive stand point first team i joined was X15 I was in X15 for about 2 days, then joined PI. I was terrible but as I played more and time went on I got better. On that game I was in every clan/team you could think of or dreamed of being on HAHA, when I re made XIV with Tornado and somebody else that's when everything turned easy for me and bad for everybody else. I acquired nitePR which turned into hacks. Then I was virtually unstoppable, by this time the game was hacked up the ass anyway by numerous people. Anybody that you could think of had a hacked psp. So basically it was just hack vs hack, but most people tried to hide it, me on the other hand didn't. I've beaten anybody who's anybody in that game. When the game started dying down I stopped playing. I moved on to xbox 360. First game I played on there was Cod 4 (Best shooter ever). Didn't play it competitively at all just played to have fun with friends. Don't remember exactly when I figured out about gamebattles but while I was playing Mohh when it was dying down I found out about it. I didn't start playing competitively and taking it serious until late Cod4 then Mw2. As time went on and I played more I got better and better. Then Black ops came out, most competitive game since cod4. That was my best GB competitive game out of all the Cods. But imo the most fun I had on a game was Mohh, and there are plenty of people to back me up on that statement. A game that required skill (until hacks) small community everybody knew everybody and idk just the feel for the game was dope.

I started off when I was 8 playing computer games. delta force started me on the fps side of things. play the old gameboy as well final fantasy and tetris on that. dont remember which final fantasy either. later on played the nintendo 64. Zelda ocarina of time xD best game evar! I have to say I loved that game the most out of all the nintendo games. later moved onto gamecube. played some phantasy star episode 1&2. played the ps2 and was into dot hack. got the xbox played halo and from there got the psp. played ftb1. once ftb2 came out I started playing that. I ran into royal in one of the games and that's how I ended up here. xD and so sorry for my bad grammar but I am terrible at english.
