Call of Duty coming to the Vita!

Reported earlier this morning by Joystiq, Call of Duty has been announced coming to the PS Vita this Fall 2012 Q4!

Joystiq reports,
"Call of Duty will be launching on Vita this fall, Sony's SVP of PlayStation Brand Marketing told Game Trailers in a video interview. SVP Guy Longworth, hired by Sony in October 2011, casually dropped the news about Vita's Call of Duty title, saying his kids love first-person shooters and "in the autumn, they're really looking forward to Call of Duty on Vita, and we think that's going to be an absolute game-changer for the platform."

Only details we have (based as a rumor) is a new COD game, coming out for the Vita (maybe) and is being released this year.

The image is very misleading. It makes people think it will be like any other CoD and same controls and everything. For all we knows its not like it at all.

We will just have to wait and see. They will use a lot of touch screen features instead of buttons for throwing nades and stuff. Its 10 months away. Long way to go.

If its coming in Q4 of this year, I'm assuming it will be Black Ops 2. The game has already been leaked by many rumor websites and seems to be true. I say this because these sites are being pressured to take this information down by developers, threatening to blacklist them (meaning from adervtisements, conferences, early releases, etc). Luckily, most of these websites refused to take this information down. In comparison, MW3 leaks were found as early as March 2011 and confirmed at E3 in June 2011. With this being said, I highly doubt two Call of Dutys can be produced in the same year. That means that I'd expect Call of Duty Black Ops 2 to be compatible with the PSvita.

I feel like we would be best off with BO2 on the vita. That's clearly the cod that will have the most work put into it. If another cod was made thi year too I would expect it to be very mediocre. Not enough manpower down there to make two awesome cods at the same time. And it would not make any sense financially.
