Trivia: Crysis 2 was developed with intentions to be played past 1080p, but because such a TV doesn't exist on the market, Crytek had to lower its recommended specifics to play the game in order to sell it.

That's not Crytek, that's EA. Don't hate the developers, hate the publisher.

actually it was rumored that the next Xbox would have this feature first. then came the rumor bout the next Sony console doing it too. and there was an article (I think at ign) in which someone at crytek supported the no used games.

but yea back to the thread. I still need to play the first 2. my pc still can't even support the first one lol

You could be right with this, but it will all come down to gameplay. Western developers are too concerned with how the game with look than the mechanics and features they add. Crytek has yet to release a multiplayer video so we'll just have to wait and see before any final judgements.
