This is a thread in which we can all tell about how, when, and where our sharpshooting skills were born amongst our gaming careers!
For me in was March, 16th, 2005 and I was playing Battlefield 2: Modern Combat on the PS2 (Ik some of you think it's a gay game but to me it was much more than a game, I no lifed it for years and began clanning on it months later) I was playing on the Chinese Team and had a PKM Light Machine Gun. Some gamer who probably started with a Sega Dreamcast said to me, "Hey noob, where did you learn to shoot? Your rounds are not even hitting anything flame boy!" I said well this is kinda my first multiplayer FPS since all I've had were Moh Frontline and Rising Sun. So he said go to the wall over there and watch how my rounds go on target. If I crouch, they get more spot on and as I go prone, it's almost precision.
Now I fly helicopters primarily but when I need to, that random weird dudes lesson has stuck with me ever since!
