nopt everyone cares to have bluray. if you want blu ray for the 360 then you can buy an external drive bay making the 360 cost as much as a PS3, otherwise noone really complains about it. people buy the system for games, not to watch movies. they buy bluray and dvd players for the disc.go for a ps3 I heard they are sweet and have blue ray
actually blue ray does matter. All games on PS3 are blu ray which make them unscratchable so they wont get messed up and the Blu ray disc can contain more game quality then the regular dvd. Xbox uses DVD and thats why the game suffers. Most ppl dont like this because game developers have to lower the game size so it can fit in 1 dvd or even 2 because xbox doesnt support blu ray. Thats why its a big issue.

yes i know that blu ray is better. but i obviously didnt choose 360 over ps3 cause of a disk, cuz obviously thatd make no sense. the only game that has come out for the PSP that has required the space of a blu ray disc to my knowledge is the new metal gear solid. (i think thats the game)
