Casino Royale: 9/10 Seen a few times, I own the dvd, maybe my favorite 007 movie. Good story, good first time portrayal of Bond by Daniel Craig, good action throughout. Also, Eva Green
Plunkett & Macleane: 8/10 Criminal duo that holds up rich people's coaches and raids their parties for their valuables, usually taking them off of their bodies like necklaces, pendants, and rings. Features somewhat of a love triangle between the 2 criminals and Liv Tyler. Set in 18th century England. Alan Cumming plays a gay aristocrat to a T in my opinion. Good story, decent action, and oh did I mention Liv Tyler <3.
Scarface: 8/10 Not really all it's made out to be in my opinion, idk, maybe I was expecting something different. Never seen it till last night, watched it because it's going to be taken off Netflix instant on the 1st. I learned where some common sayings came from while watching the movie, for example, the song "Jack Sparrow" by The Lonely Island makes soooooo much more sense now lol. Pacino trying to do an accent throughout the movie was pretty comical to me, lol, not a bad watch all together. Moral of this movie is don't do drugs or you'll do some really f***ed up things. Should be shown to kindergarteners everywhere as a warning.
The Master of Disguise: 8/10 Goofy movie, watched because my cousin really likes it. Like I said, goofy story, but some of the disguises/impersonations he does are hilarious lol. I think my favorite was his Scarface disguise/impersonation. I watched this movie immediately after watching Scarface so it was some pretty epic timing. If you watch the movie, don't turn it off during the credits, has some great bloopers and lots of funny impersonation scenes that weren't in the movie for some reason. Pretty good for what it was, better than I expected anyway.
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows; 9/10 Watched this in the theater with my sis and two of my bros Christmas night as is our tradition. I'm a huge fan of the books, read all of them by Doyle growing up, very famous fictional character. I like Robert Downey Jr's portrayal of Sherlock, he's almost like Johnny Depps portrayal of Jack Sparrow. Very eccentric obviously. Good story, some good action, but my favorites were just some of the funny things Sherlock does but which are also brilliant in avoiding death, bad things in general, etc. Some of my friends think the ending was implausible but I didn't think so, especially for Sherlock. Really good movie.
