Here is an addon for vB I have been looking at for a while, and couldn't decide if I should install it or not. Well I saw gaiaonline.com using a system similar to this one, and they have over 1 billion posts. SO I figured might as well give it a go.
How it works:
You buy items from the store to add to your avatar. How do you earn money? You post. Posts are what count as currency to buy stuff. The more posts you have, the more stuff you can add to your avatar. I have used mine as an example. You can add lots of stuff as I have downloaded all their "packs", but I must warn you some of the items are not transparent. I have no idea why these dumb asses would create items that weren't transparent. So no I have to go through all these images and fix them.
Anyway most of the items are transparent, so your good to go. Each item costs 20 points. 1 post=1 point. So for every 20 posts you have you can buy one item. So ya, I'm pretty much Bill Gates when it comes to this shit
. This also includes backgrounds. On that note, if you guys wanna submit some psp screen shots so I can add them as a pack, please link me to the images so I can crop/edit and add them to the library.
To find where you do all this buying and adding stuff to your avatar, go to your usercp and look for the Living Avatars image. You can't miss it. It's big and blue. Click on it, and it will take you to the page where you build your avatar. It will ask you to log in to edit your avatar, just use your DM log in details. From there it's all pretty self explanitory from there. So check it out, and let me know if we should keep it or not.
