i would keep vista on there,. cause if its a brand new laptop i doubt they would have the wifi drivers and other shit for XP. thats how i got fucked over putting xp on my old laptop. not to mention they wont have the motherboard drivers so.

Without the 4thgb, I couldnt use most of the computers services such as usb ports, blue ray player etc.
or the operating system, vista uses one gig of ram alone

well im getting a macbook next year for college , im gunna upgrade it at apple store and btw every summer, apple gives a free ipod touch to every college student who buys a mac computer. thats right an Ipod Touch for FREE
Check out you college bookstore too. At the one I work at, our computer department has really good ties with Apple and the can offer amazing discounts on macs. I'm not sure if they do free touches but it's probably worth it to look into it.
And last year I came into work and there were police everywhere, and I was like wtf mate. Turns out someone had broken in the night b4 and stolen all of our touches and a few macbooks. They caught it on tape, then he tried to register them on the school's network and they flagged the hardware ID or something and owned him xD
