Eric Nylund, author of a Halo novel and many non-Halo novels — that’s what he did before going into games — and a story consultant at Microsoft who contributed to Gears of War and Halo games, has updated his LinkedIn profile with a new job at Amazon Game Studios.
He also posted a picture of his new business card on Facebook alongside this comment: “I can’t talk about specifics, but I wouldn’t be there unless something cool was brewing.”
A couple relevant notes:
-Amazon is rumored to be developing an Android-based home console.
-Amazon is also rumored to be seeking exclusive games for it.
I’ll let you guess how Nylund’s skillset fits into this saga.
