there is another way tto find out... Night on r ipod hold down the home button for 2-3 seconds a voice control thing should pop up if u have the 3g n haz yes u can jail break it

no the 3rd gen ipod touches have it to rid and night thts the giga bytes n they dont make 3 gigs so check again...
