Today we’ve got a pair of tablet deals for you, both of which offer intriguing value at different price points. If you’re in the market for a smaller tablet, check out these deals on a couple of good ones.
You’re undoubtedly familiar with the Kindle Fire HDX 7-inch,*and with a recent price drop of $20, now may be a good time to jump if you don’t want to wait until Amazon discounts things for*Black Friday (and*it’s possible all that happens then is that this same price is hit). The Fire HDX features a 7-inch 1920×1200 display, 2.2GHz quad-core processor, 16GB storage and MayDay 24/7 customer support. There’s also dual-facing cameras and an 11 hour battery. This tablet is a solid value at full price, and all the better when you can spot it on sale.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7-inch 16GB tablet for $179 (pictured above, normally $199)
For those looking to keep things in the real of two-digit price tags, take a look at this refurbished Acer Iconia A1-830. It’s less powerful than the Fire HDX, with a dual-core Atom*Z2560 processor running the show, but it’s still a capable unit and also half the price. It sports a larger though lower res 7.9-inch 1024×768 display, 16GB storage (expandable via microSD), 7.5 hours of battery and Android 4.1 (upgradeable all the way to KitKat 4.4). If you value the larger display and don’t mind a refurb, this is a sweet deal at $90. Acer covers this with a 90 day manufacturer’s warranty.
Acer Iconia A1 8-inch Android 16GB tablet (refurb) for $89.99 (pictured right, normally $159.99)
We’ve got a few other great deals today, highlighted by a huge savings on a Microsoft Office Home & Business deal – which is*actually*a more valuable*Microsoft Office Professional deal after a free upgrade, giving you*Publisher 2013 and Access 2013*for the same price. Take a look below.
