Gamebattles trouble

So i got my invitation for the ps3 black ops team, but when i try to edit my profile for my correct PSN, it makes me make a new profile and im not sure if that deleted my other one (i was just finishing 6th prestige). Then i made the account and now it wont let me login to it because its down wtf? So basically i cant do gamebattles yet
