The very first screenshots of the Operation Metro 2014 map have been revealed.
EA recently invited a number of gamers and YouTubers to show off the upcoming Battlefield 4 expansion packs, Second Assault and China Rising. And some of the gamers manage to take a few screenshots at what will almost certainly be one of the most popular Battlefield 4 maps: Operation Metro 2014.
DICE has previously revealed that the Battlefield 4 Operation Metro 2014 map will feature more pathways in order to eliminate the worst of the chokepoints that the original version suffered from. Nevertheless, there will still be plenty of chokepoints, which was the reason players loved (and hated) the map in BF3.
Furthermore, Operation Metro in Battlefield 4 will include Levolution, where players will be able to destroy a ceiling in the subway and create a new entry from outside. As the screenshot below shows, you’ll be able to shoot a steam pipe which will gush out steam, making it impossible to see through.
As the recent trailer showed, players will also be able to shoot out the lights in select pathways in Operation Metro, darkening the area. Second Assault launches early next year, and Operation Metro is just one of the four new maps. Other new additions include five new weapons, two new vehicles, a few new gadgets, and new assignments and awards as well.
Yesterday, a teaser for the third DLC in the lineup, Naval Strike, was revealed.
