I guess the books i read are maybe a few years below what youd want, idk

I had the same problem with the Maximum ride series when the books first came out. I read them all in 1 day. It was really depressing.

And I'll add Deception Point to the list.

great series too, but thats exactly what i was thinking, i wanted more. The new book comes out in march, and i read the first 4 in a weekend.

Theres also a movie comming out early next year

The name of the book is "The Last Lecture" and it's a true story about a man who is dying of cancer with 3 very young kids. And it's about a lecture he gave, with two purposes. To make himself known, to be remembered. But it was also filmed for his kids when they get older. Since he won't be there to teach them all the things a father should teach his kids. It's a very good book so far. Short easy read.

Here is a powerful paragraph I found about the book.

ZOMBIE SURVIVAL GUIDE- Awesome book.

The best book i can think of that really makes you think and has a different perspective on life is The Dark Tower series (which i know has already been posted) but a good movie i recently saw that also gives you a lot of different perspective on life and was really deep is The Curious Case of Benjamin Button but the only down fall of seeing it is it is 2 hours and 45 min long...

i myself have read the last lecture and loved it.

also i have watched the whole lecture on youtube which is just amazing, he passed away in july i think which is very sad, but he changed a lot of lives with his lecture

and sorry for the confusion murf, "Into Thin Air" is a real story about the author's expirence of a Mt. Everest disaster.

It's actually worth it. And try and act a little bit more mature in the thread please. And it's a man who is dying and wanted to do something so when his kids grew up they could see who their dad was. How does that make you feel now?
