Bungie has revealed an exciting new collaboration for Destiny 2 during its recent Act 2 livestream, bringing cosmetic content from Capcom's Street Fighter 6 to the game. With Act 2 set to officially launch on November 19, players can expect not only this collaboration but also a range of fresh content in Destiny 2.

Collaborations have become a major focus for Bungie in recent years, with the developer bringing themed content from various franchises into Destiny 2. Past collaborations have included content inspired by games such as The Witcher 3, Fortnite, Ghostbusters, and Assassin's Creed, as well as PlayStation titles like Ghost of Tsushima, God of War, and Horizon Zero Dawn. However, the Street Fighter 6 partnership might be one of the most unexpected collaborations yet.

During the Act 2 livestream, Bungie unveiled new cosmetic items inspired by Street Fighter 6, including a Blanka helmet that will be available as a universal ornament for all three classes. This helmet closely resembles the character’s mask, reminiscent of the Festival of the Lost event.

In addition to the Blanka helmet, Destiny 2 players can also expect a variety of other Street Fighter inspired items, including three Ghost shells themed after Chun-Li, Ryu, and Cammy White. Players can also equip new finishers inspired by Chun-Li's spinning bird kick and lightning kicks, as well as Ryu's iconic Hadoken. Additionally, two emotes were revealed: one depicts a fight between Ryu and Blanka, complete with lifebars above each fighter, while the other references the classic Bonus Stages from past Street Fighter games, replacing the usual car with a vending machine.

Along with the Street Fighter 6 cosmetics, the livestream also teased the upcoming launch of Act 2 and a special event starting on November 19. Bungie will be offering a selection of god roll weapons at Banshee-44, including the Indebted Kindness, VS Chill Inhibitor, and Rose, following a fix to a weapon perk weighting issue. Players will also benefit from increased loot drops in the Vesper's Host dungeon, making it easier to find specific weapon and armor rolls.
