The new Battlefield game gets a release date and official trailer.
The newest game in the series, Battlefield Hardline, will be coming this October, according to EA. The publisher also released a new trailer for Battlefield Hardline, which, if we have to be honest, looks like it took every cue from every Call of Duty trailer we’ve ever seen.
Battlefield Hardline is developed by Visceral Games, the guys behind the Dead Space series. DICE is helping out with the multiplayer portion of the game. Battlefield Hardline focuses on tactical gameplay rather than large scale warfare that the series is known for.
Recently, DICE tried to assure gamers that work on Battlefield 4 has not stopped, and they they will still be supporting the game. Battlefield 4 still has two major expansions that are waiting for release: Dragon’s Teeth and Final Stand.
Dragon’s Teeth is expected to be released next week, while we’re still not sure about Final Stand — usually DICE releases new expansions with a few months time in between.
