depends on what branch of the clan you are trying out for. im not sure if we have a Wii branch or not but once you get a ps3 or 360 we have games that you can tryout for. and you would need to talk to the commander of that game for the tryout

i'm not going to bother trying to purchase one, since I'm getting an xbox here soon. I do realize that having a mic is big issue, but if it's the fact of war, I can play with no communication, since people talking distracts the other sounds of the game.

In real war, yes. On CoD, I'd rather be able to hear voices and sounds than concentrate on telling someone else what is going on.
