I dedicate this thread in relation to the very strong police-military relationship where I live, so I feel it is important for me to make these posts when a local brother falls. This thread is dedicated to Staff Sergeant Javier Ortiz-Rivera (United States Marine Corps) who on Tuesday, was killed by a bomb while serving in his third tour of duty in Afghanistan. May God Bless his family. I dedicate the following song in his honor.

so many soldiers fight for our countries. But most never see their country again.
and it just makes me think: why do people have to be such stupid patriots?
most of the time its not even to defend your country. its to fight for the governments greed. the presidents greed. because the president is so brave, all he needs to do is sit back whilst his country dies. theres no difference between the president and the soldier who fights for him, except that the soldier is brave and also foolish, foolish for being the "leader's" puppet.
A leader should fight with his army, rather then sitting back and watching, saying:" oh well, its just one death, i have 29,999 more soldiers". thats how he should be chosen as leader.

he should grow a sack and fight his own wars, instead of sending innocent people who have lives and families and friends.

due to greed.
the governments greed or humanity's greed.
so they are forced into fighting for something that isnt their fault
