Thanks for the reference DH, but I've never been an Apple fan and have no use for a Mac whatsoever. I'm looking for a windows 7 laptop with some great specs for the price. Has anyone found a good deal lately? What do you all think about this one, I don't really like it mostly because of the ancient processor, lack of nice graphics card and DDR2 ram but overall not too bad I guess. 720p screen, bluray reader/burner, bluetooth, Wireless N, webcam, etc for $729.99.

honestly i dont think dell is that good. i know this might seem really stupid to say but it feels like it gets viruses so much easier. now i kno thats dumb to say because that obviously invovles the internet and virus protection and shit like that, but we have a dell laptop and we have already had to clean it like 3 times i believe because of viruses.
plus i just dont feel that dells run the same as most other computers, it just seems a bit different to me, idk why. but then again im not that computer savy anyway

dont get a dell. If you want a lappy if you must have a PC get a alienware or a HP or get a macbook they are the best

Can I get a link to it then Vortex? Did anyone look at the laptop in the link I posted that I was asking about? lol. I hate dell, had one and it was a cheap piece of crap. Alienware would be awesome I'm sure but 'spensive as all get out. I won't be doing any hardcore gaming on this laptop other than Microsoft flight simulator and Xplane. I just need a laptop while I'm at flight school since the one I have now is fried. And I'm not bringing my amazing TV with me :fear2: so I'd like something I can still watch Netflix streaming movies and shows on that will not lag the video or lower it's quality. So I'm really looking for a good deal for the money here, since most laptops nowadays will be able to run flight simulators and stream Netflix without any problems. Plus the sooner I can get it shipped to me the better as I'm leaving in a matter of days.
