Ubisoft has been drumming up plenty of excitement for their new first person shooter in a world where a smartphone can apparently control the whole city, but today’s announcement revealed lots of details about what is going to be waiting for you after the game launches. The Watch Dogs Season Pass has been detailed, and it’s an impressive list of goodies.
Watch Dogs*appears to be an entirely unique gaming experience, complete with interaction with smartphones and tablets during various gameplay modes. The game seems to keep getting bigger and bigger with each announcement, from exclusive content on the PS4 to multiplayer hack and hunt modes alongside the actual storyline. Now that we have more details about the Season Pass, it looks like not only is it available for more than the PS4, but there will be a totally separate single-player story available, new game modes, and more of everything from missions to weapons.
The Conspiracy! gameplay mode is an option that will be released as an add on to the Digital Trip mode where you can hunt down cyborgs in an alternate game universe. On top of that you’ll be able to play through the game as T-Bone, a crazy hacker that you interact with throughout the game when you play as Aiden Pearce.
The $20 Season Pass is expected to be a 25% savings when compared to buying the packs individually, and gives you access to the 1920s-esque Untouchables Pack among other weapons, outfits, and missions. There aren’t currently release dates for any of the DLC packs, but with May 27th just around the corner it is looking more and more like Watch Dogs is going to be one of the better games of 2014.
