More than just teasers and rumors.
By Brian AlbertE3 is always an exciting time with announcements large and small, but for right now, we're focused on the biggest of the big.
For each of the six triple-A games below, from Assassin's Creed Unity to Uncharted PS4, we already have some details, but we're ready for new info on their worlds, characters, multiplayer modes, and more.*Let us know which games you want to know more about at E3, and don't forget to check out our E3 2014 games list to see what's confirmed for the show.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
The trailer for Sledgehammer's upcoming Call of Duty game was leaked earlier this month, and it gave us a quick look into a conflict fueled by futuristic, crazy technology (hoverbikes!) and private military contractors. We took a closer look at the trailer below and picked out all the details we could find about Advanced Warfare's weapons, characters, and locations.
We know House of Cards actor Kevin Spacey stars as the head of the world's largest PMC, Atlas Corporation, but we know almost nothing about what to expect from Advanced Warfare's multiplayer mode. Hopefully after E3 we'll have a better idea.
Uncharted PS4
Recent news on the next Uncharted game has been a bit concerning with the game's lead writer,*Amy Hennig, and game director,*Justin Richmond, leaving Naughty Dog. This E3, we're ready to learn more about the next step in the studio's power franchise. What is Drake doing, and where in the world will his adventures take him?
Last year we saw a short teaser featuring a map flyover and an incomplete title. Check out the video above to see Greg and Colin scrounge for clues and make predictions about what's coming next.
Batman: Arkham Knight
We're already on board with Batman: Arkham Knight, especially considering Rocksteady's history with the superhero. Arkham Knight's developers have teased an even larger world than Arkham City's, and we're finally getting the keys to the Batmobile to explore it all.
In the rewind theater for the "Scarecrow's Revenge on Gotham" trailer, Greg and Destin discuss Scarecrow's plan to take over the city, plus they look at the different districts of Gotham and what you'll do there.
Destiny
Activision was quiet on Destiny details for a long time following its reveal, but leading up to this summer's beta, we're finally starting to see more of the game's modes, weapons, character classes, and locations. Still, that doesn't mean we aren't ready for more.
Check out the video above to see Ryan and Jose dissect a few minutes of Strike gameplay, talk about player powers, and point out some of the similarities to Bungie's storied Halo series.
Assassin's Creed Unity
Assassin's Creed Unity was revealed in a teaser trailer in March, but details about the upcoming game have been scarce since. Early screenshots suggest the game may take place in Paris, France. Plus there are rumors of a four-player co-op mode.
With 10 studios hard at work on Assassin's Creed Unity, hopefully they'll be ready to share more story and gameplay next month at E3.
Sunset Overdrive
After playing Sunset Overdrive this month, we were pleased with its colorful, open world, its whimsy humor, and its fresh style of play. But we want to know more about the diabolic minds behind FizzCo, the evil corporation that took over the fictional metropolis, as well as the rest of the cast.
If you're lucky enough to live near the Century City Microsoft store in Lost Angeles, you'll be able to check out the game on Wednesday, June 11 from 6-9pm and meet members of the development team from Insomniac.
