We***39;ve been enjoying the first videos created by GTAV PC players around the globe with the new Rockstar Editor this past week, and a few directors have already come to grips with the deep suite of features including blends, slow-motion, music effects and more. Some YouTubers are even using the Rockstar Editor***39;s tools in conjunction with their own to explore new possibilities and take their channel videos to the next level. Check out some of our favorites below:GTA 5 - V.I.S.I.T.O.R.S. [Rockstar Editor Fan Trailer] by GTA Series VideosFor their first endeavor with the GTAV PC editor, the group over at GTA Series Videos looked to a classic GTA trailer for inspiration. Replacing the stoically strolling Niko Bellic with GTAV***39;s Michael, Trevor and Franklin, we see a similar trek made through the streets of Los Santos and Blaine County with a few NPC cameos dropped in for good measure. Grand Theft Auto V | Los Santos & Blaine County - Fan Trailer (PC) by RageDevSyncing up a lively music track with complimentary scene-by-scene cuts, RageDev captures the look and feel of an action-packed day in Los Santos. Mixing in the busy sights and sounds of the city to contrast against quieter moments afforded by the great outdoors and open horizon, this trailer seems to cover all the bases. The Thief by HouratronicThis phenomenal effort from YouTuber Houratronic was posted within hours of the game going live and is certainly among the most accomplished videos we***39;ve seen so far. Houratronic has used every tool in the arsenal to turn a simple idea into a cinematic gem. Watch for consistent use of blends to add movement to the driving sequences, just the right amount of slo-mo, appreciation of sound levels to adjust music intensity at the right times, a few handheld effects and a clean, definitive conclusion. The PC Police Chase by RechyyyEven if you***39;re not familiar with his previous work, from the opening seconds it***39;s clear that Rechyyy has a keen sense of cinematic language and key concepts, such as editing to music, establishing shots and instant action. Cut neatly to a pounding industrial rock backing track, we see Franklin evade cops through the Raton Canyon before a Thelma and Louise style ending and fade to black.Sunday Drifting by GTA Wise GuyAlso no stranger to the Rockstar Newswire, GTA Wise Guy showcases a cop evasion master class employing a very different set of driving skills. The panache and audacity of his drifting talents is matched by the confidence to throw in overheads and full-on crotch shots into this drifting showcase. The Epic Stand-Off by Domestic MangoWhile rampages through Downtown Los Santos have been par for the course in the opening few days of the Rockstar Editor, Domestic Mango executes this particular interpretation with stylish flair. Focusing on small details such as a grenade getting lodged under a cop car***39;s wheel, or an officer’s face as he flies through the air, it adds moments of understated cool to a chaotic sequence. ALSO CHECK OUT:Barbara Schwartzburger by Melonium: Captured using Director mode, Melonium***39;s film is everything at once: slapdash yet stylish, asinine but amazing. Judging by the Social Club comments, we***39;re not the only ones looking forward to the future adventures of Ms. Schwartzburger.Garage by Renaton: "Man goes for walk up and down garage" doesn***39;t sound like much when written out, but Renaton combines it with an array of blends, visual effects and a badass Declasse Tornado to create the perfect introduction to a lovely orange clad GTA Online vehicle collection. Michael***39;s Car Fantasy by Tyrranicon: The synth is cranked up to the max in this 80s throwback montage that takes place entirely within Michael***39;s head. From the pulsing beats to the neon lights, this electro sequence is a retro tableau. Director Demo by SGTJackCott: Described as a "demo" this contains more than enough cool ideas to be defined as a completed video in its own right. We***39;re looking forward to seeing more from SGTJackColt, particularly his ability to find the perfect song to set the scene.Grand Theft Auto V - Nope! by Rusty Recoil: Against the backdrop of a glorious sunset, Franklin takes a ride down the scenic slopes to Los Santos and through the Vinewood sign before meeting a slightly sticky end.
