No matter your age, you sometimes can’t avoid being interrupted while gaming — by your family, friends, or even your pets. Every now and then, you just want a little privacy so you can either zone out in peace, or really zone in and focus on your game. Bibi Lab’s gaming-focused Bocchi tent offers just that — a portable, pop-up private space so you can play your games without distraction.
The pop-up cube measures in at 1.3 x 1.3 meters, and practically assembles itself (as is the nature of pop-up tents) once taken out of its flat, circular case. Bibi Lab suggests the tent will make the ultimate private gaming space, but really, the only aspect of it that appears to be focused on gaming is the marketing. The pop-up tent is just that — a pop-up tent; you’ll have to provide the gaming equipment and furniture yourself.
As you can see from the above video, construction is a breeze. Behold the divine magnificence of pop-up tents.
A look from inside and above.

There is something cozy about the tent, and it even has space for a lock to further make sure people don’t interrupt your gaming session. Really though, it’s just an easy-to-build tent, and could be used for any situation that calls for a small private tent space. Considering furniture, a display, and a console or PC aren’t too portable, it seems like the tent is more useful for slipping over your current gaming space to help create a better atmosphere more focused on a game, blocking out the sight of your dog licking himself in your periphery.
The tent runs 5,000 yen, which is about $46.
