A recent leak has unveiled that players will be able to obtain a free Bangboo in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.3. Bangboos, resembling intelligent bunny-like devices, are designed to assist with daily tasks and Hollow operations. They also function as pet companions in the game, providing passive abilities during battles.

Each Bangboo boasts a unique design and various abilities that complement different team compositions. The game facilitates acquiring Bangboos through a dedicated banner, where players can spend Boopons, an in-game currency that’s easy to farm. With every update, Zenless Zone Zero introduces limited-time Bangboos that are tailored to synergize with new 5-star banner Agents.

According to a leak from leifa, Version 1.3 will feature a limited-time event titled "Arpeggio Hollow," offering a free Bangboo named Knightboo, which is described as "pretty good." Another leak from Flying Banana revealed that Knightboo will sport a knightly appearance, complete with a medieval helmet. This Bangboo is expected to deal Ether damage and includes an ATK buff passive that activates when a Support Agent is on the team. Knightboo may also be an A-rank Bangboo, potentially launching alongside a rumored counterpart known as Baddieboo.

Knightboo: Rumored to be a free reward in the Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.3 limited-time event "Arpeggio Hollow."

In the comments section, many Zenless Zone Zero fans are already brainstorming ways to integrate Knightboo into their teams. If its rumored abilities hold true, players noted that it would be an ideal fit for teams featuring Ether units like Zhu Yuan and Nicole. Others have expressed admiration for Knightboo’s design compared to other Bangboos, such as Officer Cui.

Version 1.3 is shaping up to be an exciting update, with new banner Agents Tsukishiro Yanagi and Lighter, along with the potential introduction of new Bangboos. Fans are also speculating that the main story mission might center around Section 6, possibly highlighting the stronger Ethereals typically targeted by the special operations faction.

Additionally, there’s considerable anticipation surrounding Version 1.3 as it may pave the way for the debut of Hoshimi Miyabi. This playable Agent has been teased since the game’s launch in July, but her banner release remains unconfirmed. Rumors suggest that Miyabi could appear in Version 1.4, though HoYoverse has yet to make an official announcement.
