What would you do if you had the bridge to the Enterprise-D to do whatever you want with? We sat down today with Huston Huddleston*–*the only person who can truly answer that question.
It’s not every day you stumble across most of the bridge to the Starship Enterprise, but now that it has been restored its owner has much bigger plans. Huston Huddleston has spent the last two years taking the bridge to sci-fi conventions all over the US, and now he and his board of directors have in mind a much larger home for this and many other incredible moments in the history of the genre. The Hollywood Sci-Fi Museum has impressively huge ambitions, and no shortage of big names eager to see a home for education and technology that surrounds all forms of science fiction. The Kickstarter project is already well on its way to being completed, but even after this step comes many more hurdles before there’s a building we can enjoy.
Watch Dogs has finally been released after two years of hype, delays, and a constant assurance that this game would be a true “next gen” experience. Unfortunately, the game has been plagued with log in issues. The PC version of the game seems to be receiving the worst of it so far, but even when you get past this experience there’s no shortage of problems in game. It’s still an enjoyable game, especially if you’re the type to enjoy open world shooters, but it’s pretty clear we’re not going to get the super hacker experience we were promised just yet.
Our app of the week is a PlayStation 2 classic, but you’re going to pay quite a bit for the experience in your hand. Dragon Quest VIII has come to Android an iOS, and while it is a nearly complete port of the PS2 game we all know and love the game is a whopping $20. If you’re a fan of the franchise you know it’s worth it, but when you compare it to the other games in your arsenal that price tag is worth talking about.
