We featured the P2815Q a few weeks back for an impressive price drop down to $630, but today’s deal beats that handily. For those hard-earned greenbacks, you get a 28-inch display that serves up 3840×2160 resolution on a TN-type LCD panel. Modern TN panels are worlds’ better than older generations, but that is still one of the cost-cutting points Dell took that keep this model below the multi-thousand-dollar large screen 4K monitors.
The other big caveat is that at the full 4K resolution you’ll only get a 30Hz refresh rate. For text and still image work that’s no issue, but this won’t be fast enough for the gamers out there.
