This weekend, Premium owners get double XP when they play.
It’s the end of the month, which means that Battlefield 4 Premium players can enjoy a double XP weekend this Saturday and Sunday. Like all other double XP weekends, players’ score at the end of each round will be doubled up, including bonus and award score. The double XP is mostly useful for ranking up.
Double XP weekends started with BF3 and offer players a fast way of earning a lot of points — helpful when it comes to ranking up. However, unlocking new gear and weapons still takes the same amount of time and effort.
At this point, most players have ranked up pretty high and unlocked most things that are worth unlocking, so double XP might not mean much for most. But if you’re just starting out, it’s a great way to rank up quickly. Provided you’ve spent $50 on Premium, of course.
