Comcast/Xfinity Streaming TV/Movies

So I have had comcast service for a long time and usually they are busy jacking up prices and fucking my day up with service outages, but rrecently I found out that they actually did something worth a damn: Streaming all On-Demand content online.

If you are a comcast subscriber go here http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/ and log in. The selection isn't as huge as netflix or hulu, but it is much more up-to-date with recent episodes of shows that are currently on.

If you have premium channels... that is where it really gets good. Any episode ever of some of the best shows I've ever seen like Carnivale and The Wire.

Anyway, just thought I'd share. I've been watching Workaholics, Tron: Legacy, and Seinfeld.

I have the xfinity app on my ipad...great for catching up on shows. Can change my cable box channels and set my dvr thru the app....
Netflix doesn't have shit anymore...mostly b-rated movies, cartoons....and soft core porn.

The espn app is also great to watch live football.

It's not up on comcast unfortunately :[ BUT its on Netflix for those who have it. It's an awesome show, check it out! I read the first book of the seriies and it was really cool, the show sticks to original story really closely.

I just watched Eps 1-5 of The Walking Dead on Nettyflix a few hours ago, not too bad, but he keeps walking by perfectly good helos. :furious: Dude, get the hell in one and ride like a badass. Not that hard to teach yourself if you've got half a brain. Would make the show amazing.

Looks like Netflix has a rival. I think when Netflix changed their prices, it enabled Comcast to compete. Let's see who is the more preferred service. I still like Netflix a lot since they originated in my home town.
