Climate Change: What's Your Stance?

So in one of my classes today we had a big debate on climate change and how it can be solved. Some ppl said "OMFG climate change is happening wake up assholes" and some said "climate change is bs, you filthy hippy."

My proposal was to implement mass-sterilization or unleash a horde of zombies in order to stifle population growth. I see rising population as the real problem, not just contributing to pollution, but also using up the world's resources.

I just think the world needs to take a freaking break from cranking out babies for like 20 years.


What's your stance on solving the world's problems?

lol i agree with wiping out some of the earths population. we should nuke the middle east and kill 2 birds with one stone.

My idea is to build 100 story ionic air filters in every major city. This will combat the CO2 that is emitted by all of our factorys and gas guzzling cars, god knows what it would cost though....lol. Then once we get Plasma Energy working safely, build one plant on each continent. It's been estimated that one plasma energy plant could turn 800 cubic meters of plasma into enough energy to power every house in America for 100 million years without any carbon dioxide being pumped into our atmosphere.

Climate change is happening, but at a slow pace. If there was a thing as global warming, the damn ice caps would of flooded up most islands. about 20 years ago the big talk was global cooling! People made big deals about it, just like global warming. But climate change has been happening since the beginning of time. We cant stop it. our main focus to stop polution should be on the middle eastern countries and asia. they polluting twice as much as america.

It's a very interesting topic, and I barely know both sides of the story. The problem we face is that it will get more severe past our lifetime, and what to do about it while we're here will cost too much money. I really don't know at this point, but I like your solutions. Overpopulation is definitely a big factor. Plasma energy is very intriguing, I'll read up on that.

yes!!! so im not the only one, the ionic air filters idea is always in my head. you should just put solar panels and windwills on top to power those bad boys, it'll look ugly as fuck but it'll get the job done.

OMG,leave it to the scientist, Im tired of politics, and trying to make the world a better world,THIS IS GODS WORLD..LEAVE IT ALONE..LOL..But.....i think people should use differnt gas,for their car and other stuff that runs on gas..its poluting the air and making it very diffacult..maby..some sort of power plat..and GAS THAT CAN BE MADE INTO WATER!!,SO EVERYONE CAN USE WATER OR SOMTHING!!IN THEIR CAR!
