A new crossover pack is combining two Ubisoft franchises.
By Mike MahardyA new item pack for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Phantoms released today, bringing Assassin's Creed-styled weapons and armor to the free-to-play shooter, according to a Ubisoft press release.
This is the second Assassin's Creed-themed pack released for Phantoms –– Ubisoft made a similar set of items available for the Recon class during the game's open beta, when it was still known as Ghost Recon Online. The new pack will be available for all three classes, and includes three new Assassin's Creed hoods and suits, five Tier VII weapons and five classic Assassin's Creed weapons.
The in-game prices of the separate bundles included in the pack are:

  • Assault Bundle - 7900 Ghost Coins
  • Recon - 9000 Ghost Coins
  • Support- 7800 Ghost Coins
Ubisoft bridged the gap with another of its franchises last year, bringing a Splinter Cell pack to players before Ghost recon Online open beta ended April 10.*Corey Facteau, producer at Ubisoft, said the developer will continually supplement Ghost Recon Phantoms with new features and modes following its launch.
Despite boring maps and poor matchmaking capabilities, IGN enjoyed the cover-based team shooter when it originally released in 2012. Check out the full review here.
