Just five months ago, Ubisoft released the newest installment in the*Assassin’s Creed franchise,*Black Flag. Hopefully you’ve fully completed the pirate-em-up and emptied the part of your brain dedicated to Assassin’s Creed, because you’re going to need a quick renovation up there to fit the next installment. Ubisoft just revealed*Assassin’s Creed V: Unity, complete with a quick teaser showing our new hero doing what assassin’s do best: picturesquely standing atop a tall building.
We know very little about the upcoming installment so far, but what we do know is that it takes place during the French Revolution, stars an assassin named Arno who will presumably assassinate people, and there are tall buildings on which you can stand atop while wearing a cloak.

The trailer also features a guillotine, which you would have to assume plays a part in the upcoming game about killing people, though we hope the game takes an even more extreme historical fiction route than it already does and somehow turns the guillotine into stealth weaponry.
Just a couple of days prior to the above teaser being released, news broke that Ubisoft would up its comical-at-this-point yearly bombardment of the*AC*franchise and release two of them in 2014. The above French*Creed will be one of them, and release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while the other*Creed is set to release for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, though there is nothing known about it at this point other than its codename, Comet.
For now, only Call of Duty*installments*and MOBA heroes release as frequently as*Assassin’s Creed, but hey, if everyone’s buying them, there’s basically no reason for Ubisoft to slow down. Stay tuned for more info.
