360 Open Tray Issues...

WoW.... these 360's have a shitboat of issues huh.

Im having troubles getting game to load into the driver. "Open Tray" issues.

Usually takes me 10min of opening and closing the tray before the game loads.

Anyone know a quick fix? Cause its gunna meet the street soon...:cpuhate:

lol.... since they first came out. I believe i was the first DM to get one (maybe second) Not sure if DemonLuvR had one b4 me.

Wow I thought I was the only one that this happens to it's so fucking annoying. It always say it can't read the disc too. I think the laser that reads the disc has dust on it or something..

ive had it for a couple of weeks, i just mess around with opening and closing the tray and it usually works in under a min or 2.

So i finally got sick of waiting 10-30min for my game to load, and decided to do something about the open tray issue.

My 360 is 3yrs old. So sending it to Microsoft for them to ass rape me $160 and 3-6 weeks down time.... I decided to give it a shot.

The problem was not my laser itself, The problem (as with 90% of open tray issues) Is that my laser was stuck at the back of the running track. All you need to do to fix this is open your 360.... And move the laser to the front of your track.

You do not need to do this every time... Just once.

(If you dont know how already ...Here is a tutorial of how to open your 360).

This fix is still 100% working for me weeks later BTW That pin he shows is the trigger safety pin from a Fire Extinguisher......so you can Jack one from ur school
