And i agree with you hova on the part of older hip/hip. Some of those guys say some piercing things that have some deep meaning. I'd listen to them more often, but the sound just doesn't please my ears . I enjoy reading their lyrics though.

I think that's why i like rock. They have deep lyrics, but at the same time it's easy on the ears.
