Because i for one you fool have read biographies of general lee and jackson in which they clearly state that they were against slavery and even if the south had won the war yes the slaves would have been freed. as i said and sandy as well what a small group of people do does not reflect the nature of everyone. I for one have a flag but the reason i ahve it is because im from the south, and im proud of it. Keep your big cities ill pick a bonfire with a group of my friends over a night in a club in a city anyday. Life in the south is a lot different than in the north i assure you.
